Grrrrr!!!

I'm getting bored here....I'm not working on anything that's a challenge to me. This is what happens ...I don't get it really.

I have a lot of skills but I can't use any of them because for some reason they they don't think I can do anything. There's this guy here ...calll him Dogg. He's what you would call well a lie. He apparently has this fabulous resume but he does not know the difference between NTFS and FAT32? He was going to take back a Linksys Router because he could not figure out how to setup a connection?? I don't get this shit....I really don't!!

I'm starting to get pissed off with all of this IT shit! It seems if you lie on your resume and get the job then all you have to do is talk like you know what you're doing and ask someone else to do it for you!

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do!

My head hurts

I have so much to do for this project. I think I'm actually a little stressed out....ok I'm only kidding myself...I am totally stressed out...I can't belive it's been a week already I have been on this job. I feel like I havn't got anything done...I know I have but not what I'm used to...so far it's been a hell of a lot of reading. Then I go home..VPN in and start working..the life of an IT junkie I guess. Some people like to think we have easy jobs and that we are always messing around but that's really not the case. his

Today I left eary at 2 but I'm here back on it..VPN in and get shit done that I read about today during work. Then I suppose I will take a little break and start doing some flash design for the site..after that I figure it will be around 11am and Jen get's home. Then it's off to bed. This weekend is going to be nuts....we are installing Sharepoint on one of the servers ...I really don't have to do anything with it but....I'm afraid if I don't show it's going to send the wrong message.

D@y One

Our roommate Jen moved out today. She got a job in D.C. so she's off. Jen and I have been fantasizing about this for a while now but now that it's here I think we are both freaking out a little about it. There is no longer that buffer here...not that we needed one but it was nice to know we had a 3rd party to go to when things seem off or get a little rough. I feel bad for my Jen because she doesn't have any friends here. Our roommate and her best friend is gone now...I hope is does not affect her too bad.

I have been trying to make friends for us but it's not as easy as one thinks. We are definitely going to see if we can handle eachother now. I have not been in this situation in a looooong time. Not since Mandarin have I lived together with someone like this. With our roommate here it made things seem different, there for some reason was not as much pressure. It's only been since this morning and I'm already freaking out...but just a little.
I think with all of this it's going to be a good thing. I now have my office in house so I can focus a little more on my work and she has a place as well so she can do all of her crafty stuff for her and the nip hut.
